Lunar Landing

In their studies of the 1960’s, pupils in Primary 1/2/3 learned that the first man landed on the moon in 1969.

Here are Mrs Bowden’s pupils landing on the moon and planting a Castlehill flag. They made the moon’s textured surface using paint mixed with flour and stamped into the paste to make craters.

Don’t they all look like happy little astronauts?
