Castlehill has joined NLC’s Handball Development Programme and our P.7s recently attended the Handball event at Wishaw Sports Centre organised by the Active Schools Co-ordinators.

 

We had an excellent morning – the pupils enjoyed a variety of games and activities designed to introduce them to this fast paced Olympic sport.

 

No warm up was needed as Mrs Daye and Mrs Chisholm marched everyone up to the Sports Centre from school.  As you can see from the photos, everyone participated very well.  We were all delighted to see friends from Overtown and St Thomas’s at the event too and enjoyed catching up with friends.  Some of our photos are blurry because of the speed our pupils were moving!
