Assembly 10th January 2014

Mrs Milligan welcomed us all to the first assembly of the new year.

It was clear that Santa had brought many of us technology and gadgets and so we were reminded about personal safety when we are online, whether on mobile phones, an Xbox or on tablets and laptops. Mrs Milligan reminded us that we should never give out our personal details online ( e.g. full names, addresses, school details, etc)  and that if we are ever asked these questions by someone on the internet, we should tell an adult immediately. Suspicious behaviour online can also be reported to the Police via this website.

It promises to be a busy term, starting off with the Primary 7 pupils heading off to the Kilbowie Outdoor Centre.  For Inter Disciplinary Learning, all classes will be looking at the Commonwealth countries, leading up to the Commonwealth Games themselves. This will also link in with our Health Week in February. So, there are lots of exciting things to look forward to in the coming weeks and months!
