Assembly 20th September

This morning’s Assembly was led by Mrs Daye and took on a sporting theme. With the recent Olympic Games and the forthcoming Commonwealth Games being in the news, Mrs Daye told us all about volleyball , an energetic ball game which can be played indoors or outdoors. Her message to us was that, just as in volleyball, we often need to work as a team to be successful. Each class then had a practical task to complete and enjoyed looking for volleyball facts on the ipads and completed volleyball themed jigsaw puzzles.

Congratulations to our Responsible Citizens and Successful Learners, who had displayed  good behaviour and manners,  had been high achievers in Maths and Spelling and been good role models in their Co-operative Learning Groups.

Well done to all.
