The Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) Survey
The Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) is now 15 years old and this provides an excellent opportunity to understand the impact that the SCQF is having across Scotland. In partnership with the University of Glasgow Training and Employment Research Unit, this short, anonymous online survey – https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/SCQFImpact – aims to understand people’s awareness and use of the SCQF and the impact it is having. It is also an opportunity to comment on your engagement with the SCQF partnership if appropriate. The survey will take no more than 10 minutes to complete and is designed so that everyone can complete it: school pupils, students, parents, school, college and university staff, training providers, careers advisers, employers, professional bodies, government, and national agencies. Christmas Toy Giveaway Saturday 26th November 2016
The Christmas Toy Giveaway will take place on Saturday 26th November 2016 at the Coltness Community Centre, 280 Coltness Road, Wishaw, ML2 7EX. The toy giveaway was well supported last year and approximately 100 children were able to open a present on Christmas morning because of this event. Many people generously supplied toys, games, books and even children’s clothes. So with your support we hope to give more children a Merry Christmas. In anticipation of helping more children we will need to gather more toys, games and books. Any donations can be handed into the school office and will be collected by Friday 25th November. Please spread the word and help us spread some Christmas cheer in 2016!
