Congratulations to the ‘Weird and Wonderful Places to Get Caught Reading’ competition winner Abbey and runner-up Ryan, both 1L2. Abbey’s weird place to get caught reading was during a bungee jump and Ryan’s weird place was reading under the sea! This is an annual competition for P7 pupils’ coming to Coltness High. They are both seen here with their English teacher Mrs Fagan.

Annual Voter Registration Canvass 2017
The Annual Voter Registration Canvass is underway, and residents in Lanarkshire are asked to ensure that they complete the Household Enquiry Forms (HEF) sent to each household. Residents will need to complete this form and return it as soon as possible to ensure that they will remain on the electoral register and are able to vote in any future elections. The return of the form will also save on local authority money as the Electoral Registration Officer is required by law to send a canvasser to households who do not return the form. Residents are also being reminded that credit reference agencies use the electoral register as a check when assessing credit applications. Therefore if people are not on the register, their ability

Applications for House Captains 2017 – 2018
Any S6 pupil interested in applying for this position should inform their Pupil Support teacher by the close of the school day on 28/06/2017. Applicants will be expected to complete an application form and will be interviewed during the first week of the new term. Application forms are available from the school office and must be returned to your Pupil Support teacher by the close of the school day on Friday the 18/08/2017. Applicants will be advised of their interview date and time when they return to school after the summer holidays.
