DRESS DOWN DAY – FRIDAY 6TH OCTOBER On Friday there will be a ‘come as you please day’ to raise money for the National Autistic Society to support Mr Johnston’s bid to run the London marathon. Pupils and staff will be asked to donate £1 for being able to dress down for the day, with senior pupils coming around classes during period 1 to collect money. Dyslexia beyond the school gates… In education – employment – trying to get a job OPEN EVENING WEDNESDAY 4th October 2017 Conference Centre,South Lanarkshire Council HQ, Almada Street, Hamilton at 7.30pm This information evening will focus on the challenges facing adults with dyslexia whether in college or university, in employment or trying to get into employment. With the fabulous help of our 2 school captains (Daniel and Scott) I have been lucky enough to have been given a place to run the London Marathon in April 2018 for The National Autistic Society. St. Andrew’s Hospice
Well done to the Coltness High community for raising so much money for the hospice. The next hospice event takes place on Sunday 17th September for S4-S6 pupils. The 6k run/walk is at Strathclyde Park, with pupils meeting at the boathouse at 9.30am. All entry forms must be returned to the school office by Friday 8th September.
