Over the weekend and coming days solar panels are being installed onto the roof at Coltness High School, which will not only reduce the school’s colossal energy budget but will also see us lower carbon footprint. No jokes about West Central Scotland weather please!!!! Written by Mr McGilp.

S4 Football Results – Report by Reece Palmer, 4A2 With Coltness looking to improve from the previous week’s poor performance, the game started evenly with both sides struggling to create chances in a tightly packed midfield. Higher Photography

Coltness High School are delighted to announce that they are now offering Higher Photography as part of their Senior Phase Course Choice for the first time this year. As a new incentive, pupils were given the opportunity to visit one of Scotlands most incredible landmarks, The Kelpies in Falkirk. This opportunity enabled pupils to capture inspiring images and develop their skills and knowledge as photographers in unknown territory. Miss Finlayson, Miss Angus and Mr Cifelli of Art&Design were thoroughly impressed with the pupil response and behaviour throughout the trip. The images produced will contribute towards pupil course work and will be exhibited later on in the year.   Written by Ms Finlayson
