Scholar – Mobile Friendly Site.
SCHOLAR has been working on a brand new platform with a whole host of improvements to enhance user experience, particularly for those using mobile devices. We have appreciated the support from a group of teachers and learners who tried our beta site, over the past few months, and provided us with helpful feedback. Today, our beta site has been made available to all schools with SCHOLAR access, and we are encouraging teaching staff and learners to check out the new look and functionality it offers. Parent – Health and Wellbeing Links
Lyn Zambonini, PT Faculty Health and Wellbeing at Our Lady’s High School Motherwell has put together signposting to agencies and resources to help within schools, Tracey McMullen (Chair of a Parent Council) was keen that this should be made available to parents (with a few additions suggested by Tracy and Carole McPherson) via the school’s website to assist parents who may be looking for assistance during this difficult period and beyond. Over the coming weeks, e-Sgoil will be delivering a programme of regular, weekly Study Support webinars that currently spans 16 of the NQ courses available on SCHOLAR. Scottish Government Announcement re Face Coverings in school
Today the Scottish Government have announced that as of Monday 2nd November 2020 it is compulsory for all* S4 to S6 pupils, and staff during these periods, to wear face coverings during lessons. It still remains the case* that all members of the school community should wear face coverings whilst moving around the school, and school grounds. *Unless exemptions are already in place
