NHS CAREERS EVENT AT WISHAW GENERAL HOSPITAL TUESDAY 28TH FEBRUARY @ 4 PM TO 7 PM

nhsIf you are interested in finding our more about a career in the NHS, there is a special event at Wishaw General Hospital on Tuesday 28th February at 4 pm to 7 pm.

There are many careers in the NHS including:
Doctors, Nurses, Midwives, Theatre Assistants, Healthcare Support Workers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dieticians, Radiographers, Biomedical Scientists, Pharmacists, Psychologists, Health Promotion, Dentists, Speech and language therapists, Healthcare assistants, Caterers, Porters, Administrators etc.

Please let your Pupil Support Teacher or Mrs Bihet know if you wish to attend the event a.s.a.p. so
that transport to the hospital can be arranged if required. Alternatively, your parents or carers can
take you directly to the event between 4 pm and 7 pm.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about working in the NHS by meeting people who actually do the jobs!

MODERN LANGUAGES

Pupil Of The Month

  • The ‘Pupil of the month’ in Modern Languages for January was won by – Graham Houston 1A2, Laura Watson 3A2, Robbie McGowan 3A1, Shanna Thomson 1S1.
  • The focus for February will be Resilience – Don’t give because it’s difficult. Always try your best and put in as much effort as you can to be successful.

Bracelona Trip 2017

  • Pupils can now start to pay up the remainder of their balance due – £350 by 3rd April. Please
    bring your passports and EHIC cards to Mrs Smith before the end of February!

Love Bands

  • The winners of the LOVE BAND competition will be announced and given their prizes by the
    end of the week.

Supported Study

  • Spanish Nat5/Higher – Thursdays after school 3:45 – 6:00pm Mrs Smith’s room ML3
