CAMERON MAY – PIPING SUCCESS

S6 pupil Cameron May was crowned the overall 18 and under piping champion at the recent Scottish Pipers’ Association online juvenile completion. The event took place via video submission and organisers commented on the very high standard of piping that was on display, especially in the under-18 category. A huge well done Cameron from all at Braidhurst.

CHILDREN IN NEED

A huge thank you to those who supported the Hub’s Children in Need appeal this year. Despite not being able to hold the usual Pancakes for Pudsey event, the Hub still managed to raise £180.70, via their Children in Need stall which was ably managed by a trio of S1 pupils in the school foyer.

The money was raised through a raffle and the sale of some special Children in Need treats. The hub would like to thank all of the pupils and staff who supported this very worthy cause.
