CHILDREN IN NEED

A huge thank you to those who supported the Hub’s Children in Need appeal this year. Despite not being able to hold the usual Pancakes for Pudsey event, the Hub still managed to raise £180.70, via their Children in Need stall which was ably managed by a trio of S1 pupils in the school foyer.

The money was raised through a raffle and the sale of some special Children in Need treats. The hub would like to thank all of the pupils and staff who supported this very worthy cause.

INTER-HOUSE PUMPKIN CARVING COMPETITION

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic curtailing many of the normal inter-house events in the school, the senior house captains and prefects ran a pumpkin carving competition for their fellow S5 and S6 pupils on Friday 30th October. The event followed all social distancing and enhanced hygiene guidelines but also delivered a much-needed injection of fun into the school’s Halloween celebrations. Many of the pumpkins modelled fantastically spooky designs but in the end it was Lorne house who grabbed first place in both the fifth year and sixth year competition.
