NETBALL RESILIENCE GROUP

The netball resilience sessions aim to raise self-esteem of girls especially within PE and are delivered by professional netball player, Kelly Slater, from Strathclyde Sirens. The sessions are running every Thursday for four weeks and will culminate in a region-wide tournament when we will compete against other participating schools.

POWER OF YET WORKSHOPS

Last week the school went viral with a clip of S3 social dancing being shared like wild fire on various social media platforms and even making the national newspapers. The P.E department filmed an S3 class performing the ‘Dashing White Sargent’ to dance anthem ‘Bits and Pieces’ by GBX during the annual social dancing programme in the lead up to the school Christmas dance. Not only was the clip a hit with viewers but the pupils also loved the chance to perform some traditional Scottish dancing to a modern dance classic.
