Art and Design pupils were very successful in the recent N. Lanarkshire Youth Arts festival.Braidhurst was voted ‘Best School in Exhibition’ by the event organisers, the Visual Arts Unit.Braidhurst High School Art & Design pupils recently entered their art work for the North Lanarkshire Youth Arts Festival.Their work was displayed in the festival exhibition, which took place in the Tudor Hotel, Airdrie.The exhibition itself was co-ordinated by The Visual Arts Unit, a Glasgow based arts collaborative. Everyone was very pleased to hearthat the Braidhurst High display was voted as ‘Best School in Show’ and the school recieved a trophyand a cheque for £100, to mark their success.
