Community

At Newark we like to be out and about in our community.

We often have our community police officer, PC John into visit , the children are very familiar with him and know that he is someone who keeps us safe and helps us.

Our Community Learning and DevelopmentĀ  contact is James, he keeps us up to date with courses for our parents.

We often have visitors into see us, we especially like when Iain comes from the Salvation Army to play his instruments and sing songs with us, we learn new songs and have great fun dancing. Our lollipop lady comes to visit too

We visit our local care home ,Newark Care Home. The children have built up relationships with the older generation and enjoy participating in shared activities. They like it best when their friends come to visit us at nursery to join in with our singing time.
