In June 2025 we were over the moon to be honoured with the Education Scotland STEM Nation Award. We have been developing our approach to STEM learning in the school for a few years and to be given this award highlights how much the children, staff and parents love STEM!
We were absolutely delighted and very proud to be awarded with the UNICEF Gold Rights Respecting Schools Award in January 2023 (we are aiming to be reaccredited this session), the Scottish Booktrust Reading Schools: Gold Award in June 2022 (we received re-accreditation in June 2025), the Digital Schools Award in June 2022 and the Raising Attainment in Literacy Award at the Scottish Education Awards in June 2018. In October 2019, we were given the Sport Scotland Gold School School Award.…..we have proved that #KPSLovesSTEM, #KPSLovesRights, #KPSLovesReading, #KPSLovesWriting, #KPSLovesDigitalLiteracy, and #KPSLovesSport.
