Within Hillend Children Centre we use a range of communication methods to support all children to have a voice and express themselves.

Theses include:

  • Objects of reference
  • Visual timetables and PECS
  • Big Mac Buttons (used to record sound & word)
  • Makaton
  • BSL ( British Sign Language)
