Mr Cook is aware that some of the Loch Insh DVDs have been copied incorrectly. There were 4 PCs copying at once, so one PC has made the wrong disks. Please bring in your DVD tomorrow if it has been made incorrectly, and we’ll make a new one!

P7 End of Term Leavers’ Service – Thursday27th June @ 10am – Culduthel Christian Centre
What a marvellous event we hosted today. It was great to see the school buzzing with parents and carers who had come to our garden party.
The wonderful art work displays, beautiful Gaelic voices, eloquently presented Sonnets, humorous puppet performances and exploding science experiments – were perfectly complemented by our champagne and cucumber sandwiches.
We’re glad to see that the majority of our paintings were sold to their successful bidders. Art work will be brought home tomorrow . . .
Check out our fantastic photographs below:
See you tomorrow morning,
Mr.Cook, Mrs.MacLeod and Mrs.Prentice
Firstly, well done to Mackenzie B (P7) – who was awarded the sportsmanship award for all of the boys within the area school group today, whilst playing in the Football Festival at the Aquadome. This is an excellent event for the P7 pupils to get to know one another a bit better, before going to the IRA in August.
Fairytales
This morning, we began looking at the structure of a fairytale. We managed to summarise the structure of both Little Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretel, by using the 5 basic principles: characters, setting, complication, resolution and ending.
– Choose a fairytale which you know the story of, and are able to give information on the 5 basic principles. You can write this down if you need a reminder – we will be using it in our writing plan tomorrow.
See you in the morning,
Mr.Cook, Mrs.MacLeod and Mrs.Prentice
REMINDER: P7 parent/carer meeting for the IRA is TONIGHT (Thursday) at 7pm in Lochardil Primary School Hall.
Tomorrow, we’re going to be going all out for Burns. There will be a quiz in the morning, a maths task themed for Burns, and the opportunity to wear something tartan. There will be a donation box for ‘Kilts for Kids’ for those who would like to make a donation.
BLOG HOMEWORK FOR FRIDAY: Write a sentence for each of the Enlightenment figures you learned about last week on the BLOG COMMENT BELOW: Alison Rutherford, Robert Adam and James Watt- saying ONE thing that you have learned about their work during the Enlightenment.
See you tomorrow,
Mr.Cook, Mrs.MacLeod and Mrs.Prentice
Here it is, the last Monday of P6/7 2012!! Only a couple of more days until the holidays! A few things however still going on before the end of term.
Tuesday 18th December – P7 Party! The P7 party begins at 7pm, and will finish at 9pm. Pupils should be dropped off and picked up from the reception area.
Wednesday 19th December- Christmas Assembly! The Christmas assembly will be at the CCC. We are currently monitoring the weather conditions. We will review this on Wednesday to ensure that the assembly can go ahead at the CCC. If not, the alternative arrangments will be within the school hall.
Thursday 20th December- Last day! School will close at 3pm for P6/7 pupils.
Play the ‘Spot the difference’ Christmas game which Mrs MacLeod showed us today. It’s quite tricky to get the five differences first time!
