What’s in the news?

Today in Reading for Information and Writer’s Craft, we looked at how news articles are laid out in a newspaper, and learned about the impact of a hurricane.

In our writing this week, we will be writing a news report on the events of Hurricane Katrina.

Your homework task: For tomorrow WEDNESDAY 12th September 2012

-Write your opening paragraph which SUMMARISES what your WHOLE news article is going to be about.
