Summary of Learning

Literacy – This term in literacy we are reading the novel “The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas” by John Boyne. We will be basing our reading and talking & listening on this text this term and it links in well with our topic.

Numeracy – For term 3 we will be focusing on all things measure. We will start with length, area and perimeter, moving on to Volume and Capacity, Time then Weight/Mass.

Topic – Our topic for term 3 is World War 2. We will be learning about the causes of the war and the impacts it had on the world and, specifically, in Scotland.

PE days

Monday – Gym

Tuesday – Swimming

Thursday – Pitch

Friday – Gym

Please make sure no jewellery or false nails are worn on these days, please.

Other

Wednesday morning is parent drop-in with SLT for any concerns.

Wood wind instructor every Thursday morning and Brass specialist every Wednesday morning.
