Primary 4A with Mrs Yuill
Summary of Learning
Literacy – In term 3, P4 will be continuing to work on spelling, punctuation and reading. Extending our use of verbs, nouns and adjectives. As well as using pronouns and prepositions to add variety and detail. In writing this term we will be creating characters, describing their actions, appearance, likes and what they say.
Numeracy – Continue to work on number fluency including practicing the 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 10 times tables. In maths we will be working on fractions.
RME -We will be exploring Bible stories, describing some beliefs Christians have about God & Jesus. We will continue to learn about world religions and festivals for world religions.
PE Days
Our P.E days will be Wednesday & Friday. This term we will be learning Scottish Country dances in preparation for Burns night. We will then be focusing on team games.
Music
The children will have a 30 minute music lesson every week working with violins, violas and cellos.
