Our choir was invited to sing at Costco on Wednesday raising the grand total of £520 for the school fund. Well done to all choir member for their hard work and fantastic behaviour!! Primary have been reading Ross Collins’ book There’s A Bear On My Chair. They loved it so much they decided to write Ross a letter to tell him how fantastic his book is. We have been learning about how different religions celebrate and think about light. We explored the Hindu story of Rama & Sita, how everyone lay lamps and candles to show them the way home. We made these amazing clay divas that Hindus light during Diwali to remind them of this story. Anne McLaughlin loves Glasgow North East for many reasons, but believes it doesn’t always have the best image. So she set the people of the North East a challenge to change that. Members of the public were invited to send her their favourite photos of where they live: the hidden gems, forgotten treasures, and potential jewels.
