Angel Express Nativity

  The boys and girls in Primary One are currently very busy rehearsing for our upcoming nativity of Angel Express. Performances will take place on Tuesday 13th December and Wednesday 14th December. Please check school bags for letters which will explain all arrangements regarding ticket allocation and performances.

Hairy MacLary Workshop

Last Tuesday, we took part in a ‘Hairy MacLary’ workshop led by a visiting drama specialist named Louisa. We had lots of fun being in the role of the characters from the stories and were also very successful in finding the items that had gone missing from Donaldson’s Dairy by following the clues. Our Christmas Fair

P4 Inside Maths!?

We have been learning about different ways to show information like Carroll Diagrams and bar charts. We even made a human Carroll diagram: We chose where to stand  depending on whether we were a boy/girl and aged 7/aged 8 Bar charts are tricky so we are trying different ones to get some practice, even smarties can be organised in a graph!!  

Science Centre

P4/5 really enjoyed their visit to the Science Centre.  Shu Fei was helping with an experiment related to the digestive system.  Jodie and Kelsey were pumping oxygen into a healthy and an unhealthy lung.  Emily was showing us that our intestines stretch to 7.5 metres, and Melny took part in an experiment to show us how hard our heart works to pump blood all round our body.  What a great
