The boys and girls in Primary 1a and Primary 1b are very busy preparing for their Christmas nativity which is called Whoops-A-Daisy Angel! What a week for P1b. Refreshed after our long weekend, we worked hard on our number and phonics work. We matched the sounds using our ‘Sound Garden’. We used paint to make the phonics we learned. We played our animal game. We practiced writing our common words. Excellent work, Kayla! And we relaxed our bodies and minds with yoga. Namaste! Looking forward to next week already!!

Balornock Primary Rag Bag Appeal The ‘Rag Bag’ recycling scheme has been developed to provide regular fundraising for schools in Scotland. We all had a great week in P1b learning new numbers and sounds. This week we looked at the sounds ‘Ii’ and ‘Ss’ and the numbers 4 and 5. We had our visiting music specialist Mrs Wiszniewska teaching us new songs. Outside, we made human bar graphs representing what fruit and colours we liked. Balornock Bob helped up with Circle Time.
