We are a leading provider of storytelling training and CPD. We also run a year-round programme of events and exhibitions at the centre.
The Network was established to encourage teachers and trainee teachers to use storytelling to enhance the curriculum. It offers a bank of stories/story resources appropriate to different topics and areas of the curriculum as well as tips and ideas on how teachers can support each other in the development of their storytelling skills. Come along to one of our free organised walking events that are just for teenage girls aged 12 to 18 years! We’ll show you how walking can be a fun activity for you and your friends to enjoy as well as being a great way to exercise.

Scotland declared a Fairtrade Nation
Scotland has become one of the world’s first Fair Trade Nations, International Development Minister Humza Yousaf announced this week.
The news comes on the first day of Fairtrade Fortnight 2013 and follows a nationwide campaign led by the Scottish Fair Trade Forum that has seen the people of Scotland rally behind Fair Trade principles.

2013 Songs for Social Justice Festival
The 2013 Songs for Social Justice Festival was launched in November 2012 and all Scottish secondary schools were notified of it in December 2012.
Schools are invited to confirm their intention to participate in the Festival by Monday 3 June 2013, and to submit a maximum of two songs per school by Friday 1st November
The Festival will showcase one entry from each school at a Showcasing event on Friday 29 November 2013 at the STUC Centre, Glasgow.
All participating schools will be presented with an Award Certificate.
