Education Scotland is taking forward capacity building activities to support Scottish Government’s objective in tackling sectarianism. This conference offers the chance to draw upon good practice in schools and communities in dealing with prejudice. The conference will include information and display from key organisations across Scotland, workshops of best practice in minimising the impact of sectarian attitudes and behaviours and the opportunity to hear from Scottish Government of their commitment and support for practitioners seeking to eradicate sectarianism in Scotland.

Education Scotland is working to identify and share good practice, to review and improve resources and engage in professional dialogue through its specific work on combating sectarianism. Education Scotland promotes and ensures diversity and equality across its improvement activities.
