How you can improve learning for children with dyslexia

Holyrood magazine welcomes the Chief Executive of Dyslexia Scotland to our first Primary Education conference, on Tuesday 26 November. In her address, Cathy Magee will discuss the challenges of identifying and supporting pupils with dyslexia.

Cathy Magee will be joined by Dr Margaret Crombie who is chair of the Addressing Dyslexia Toolkit Working Group. Dr Crombie will present the Addressing Dyslexia toolkit a resource for teachers and early years workers to use to assess literacy difficulties and dyslexia.

They will be joined by academics and educators who will consider the range of policies designed to improve learning. Key organisations will share best practice and current research to discuss language learning, technology, transitions and literacy in order to improve primary education.
