Scottish Autism

Scottish Autism has been commissioned to develop a new web-based version of the Scottish Government’s Autism Toolbox. Initially introduced across Scotland’s schools in 2009, it will be re-launched in 2013 and they are therefore seeking input from all head teachers, principal psychologists and outreach teams who work with young people with Autism Spectrum Disorders as part of this accompanying review.

This engagement with the education community across Scotland is intended to influence the content of the new Toolbox website and shape the format of the information which is available.  They want to best determine which aspects would benefit from further development as well as request new resources and examples of good practice which could be included.

They would welcome input from those who usually have responsibility for providing support and organising training for staff, and also from anyone involved in supporting young people in schools.
