Scotland’s employers must plan for a flexible skilled workforce to be able to deliver high quality services in a climate of financial pressures and growing demand says a report from the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), the social services workforce regulator and sector skills council.
The report, The Social Services Sector in Scotland: Workforce Skills Report 2011/2012 outlines the challenges and skills needs and provides a picture of social services in Scotland.
