Joe Wicks!

Joe Wicks The Body Coach has been streaming live workouts every day this week for boys and girls across the country. Calderwood Lodge have been taking part and Primary Two have completed each work out so far!  We have been doing press ups, squats, runnning, jumping jacks and many more tricky exercises. We have even been tweeted by Joe himself!

On Thursday the whole school took part together in the gym hall and we hope to make it onto Joe Wick’s twitter page again. If lots of children take part from one school Joe will come to the school and lead a workout for everyone. We are hoping we are lucky and are picked as we would all love to meet him!

Lori even brought in her Joe Wicks cook book from home that her mummy uses to cook healthy meals.

We are all going to be so fit and healthy after all our excercise this week!

The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch

This week we have been reading The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch story and doing lots of fun activities!

Mr Gringling has a very unhealthy lunch so we planned a healthy lunch for him. We had sandwiches, fruit and water.

Mr Gringling is very Industrious! This means he works very hard in all weather. We became fashion designers this week and designed clothes for Mr Gringling when it is sunny, rainy and cold.

Mr Gringling looks out at sea through his telescope. We used binoculars to look at the view from our new school and draw the landscape. We saw lots of fields and farm animals like cows and sheep. We loved looking through the binocualrs!
