Each day we do the calendar in class and say our days of the week. Today Miss Dunn caught us out by asking the day before and after others. We stood on today (Monday) and hopped backwards and forwards to different days.

Try this at home, particularly at times when your child is not expecting you to ask what day it is!

It may also help to hang a calendar in your child’s bedroom and discuss the events that normally happen on that day e.g. Today is Monday and you go to Karate on a Monday.
