Primary 6/7 were lucky enough to work with Dee and Derek from Show Racism the Red Card last Monday.  The morning started with some football activities with Derek which helped us work in a team and treat each other fairly. Dee worked with the us in the afternoon and explained what racism actually is and taught us to treat everybody with respect no matter what colour their skin is, what nationality they are, what their beliefs are and what religion they may be.    Show Racism the Red Card is the UK’s anti-racism educational charity and was established in January 1996. The organisation utilises the high-profile status of football and football players to help tackle racism in society. The majority of the campaign’s output is the delivery of education to young people and adults.
