St John The Evangelist Parish Mission September 2017

The parish will host a group of 16 sisters and priests who will give a parish mission between 16^th -24^th September. The order is called the Institute of the Incarnate Word,

On Friday 15^th September the parish will host  a firework display with entertainment provided in the church grounds. There will be food and entertainment  for all the family, to which all of the local community are invited. Please come along and meet our missionaries.

On Sunday 17^th of September, from 2p.m-5p.m., there will be a family fun afternoon in the grounds of St Luke’s High School. Events during the afternoon include, a football match, The Missionaries v The Parishioners, family sports events and games

There will be opportunities for Mass, confessions, benediction and prayer in St John’s Church during the mission week. The missionaries also would like to visit  you at home, blessing you and your family.

During the week, there will be an After school clubs for our primary age schoolchildren. This will take place every day 3.30-5.00pm.
