Celebrate Me Friday 8th June

In order to celebrate and recognise the successes and achievements of all children in our school, we will hold two very special awards ceremonies on Friday 8th June in which every child will take part.

At 9.45am, parents and carers of children in Primaries 1-3 are invited to join us in the school hall. Every child will be recognised for something that they have achieved during this school year.  Our violinists will also be playing at the beginning of this ceremony.

At 1.30pm, parents and carers of children in Primaries 4-7 are invited to join us in the school hall. Every child will be recognised for something that they have achieved during this school year.

Recognising Achievement

Gaining recognition for the wide range of achievements can increase pupil confidence, raise their aspirations, improve motivation for learning and keep them engaged in education. It is important that we recognise and celebrate achievements in all contexts for learning, through:

• the ethos and life of the school as a community
• curriculum areas and subjects
• interdisciplinary learning
• opportunities for personal achievement.

To help us gather this information on pupils’ personal achievements, I would ask you to follow the link below and provide the information required:

This link will remain live throughout session 2017-18. You can add achievements as often as required by entering your child’s name, class and details of their achievement. We then track each child’s participation in clubs and achievements both within and outwith school.
