Mr. Smith will once again judge the House noticeboards and award points to the House with the most informative, most exciting, most up to date and best presented board. Judging will take place on the Wednesday 18th of March.
Last time Caledonia won 50 points and Gleneagles also impressed so much that Mr. Smith decided to second place prize of 25 points.
Remember – any points won at this stage may well still have an impact on the destiny of The House Cup. Good Luck!
The East Renfrewshire Child Protection Committee is inviting those living, working or volunteering in the local community to come together to find out how to keep children, young people and vulnerable adults safe from exploitation.

Congratulations to the girls for a great victory in the semi-final of the Scottish Plate competition.
They beat Craigmount High School from Edinburgh by 2 sets to 0 (25-13, 25-14).
Well done to the girls who now face Stonelaw High School in the final.
Scottish Youth Parlilament elections Monday 2 March to Friday 13 March. Anyone aged 12-25 can vote online at www.syp.org/elections with a Young Scot card or we are having a drop-in session to get a temporary number on Tuesday 10th March.
Congratulations to all pupils – Mearns Castle has been awarded a second Green Flag Award!
This award is a reflection of the work carried out in a number of areas in the school related to litter reduction, waste minimisation and generally being eco-friendly.
A particular thanks to the Eco-Committee who worked hard to complete the application form and carry out a variety of jobs every year including an environmental review of the school.
New members are always welcome to join the Eco-Committee who meet Monday lunchtimes in Science lab A8.
Tickets for the Spring Concert on Monday 23rd March will go on sale from TODAY.
These are £4 and are available from the school office at intervals, lunchtimes and after school.
ERC Cross Country championships is due to take place on Wednesday 11th March. Those who have been selected to represent the school must return their consent forms to a member of PE department as soon as possible.
Those who expressed an interest in competing in the Scottish School Cross Country championships on Saturday 7th March have all been entered. You will need to make your own arrangements to attend. Please inform me if you are no longer able to participate in this competition.
