Starting from Friday 25th October Mr McWhinnie is going to begin holding an S1 history club every Friday at lunchtime in room 109.
This is an opportunity for those with an interest to explore periods in History that we don’t always get a chance to in class, look at movies and games they’ve inspired, be involved in whole-school projects AND mess about with Lego. An awful lot of Lego. And quite possibly some playdough…”

The winner of last month’s Famous Moment in Lego was Calum Dron, S6, who correctly identified the atomic bombing of Hiroshima in August 1945.
If you look very closely the best clue was in the design of the houses. Calum should come and see Miss Thomson in F9 to collect his prize, a £15 i-tunes voucher.
Keep your eyes peeled for the next Famous Moment which the HIstory Club will be launching this week – some say it is the toughest one yet!
