The senior vocal group meets on a Wednesday lunchtime in the music department (room C5).
Members from last year should attend as normal.

The joint S1/2 boys football trial will now take place on the Thursday 28th August, NOT Tuesday 26th August.
Pupils should sign up prior to this date or speak to Mr Haffie if they have any questions.
The Junior Debating Club will start on Monday 25th August.
The club is for all pupils in S1-3 and will run from 3.35-5.30pm.
Any pupil interested in joining (or re-joining) should come to room E4 after school on Monday.
New members are very welcome!

The CryptoCrackers Club will meet Tuesday lunchtime in Room F15.
If you enjoy solving puzzles and breaking codes, then please come along.
We had great success last term, competing in the Alan Turing competition, and we hope to take part again this year, perhaps doing even better.
At the club this week, we will be looking at a code Julius Caesar used, called the ‘Caesar Shift’.

Jazz Band will start on Thursday 21st in C5 until 4.30pm – new members welcome. Senior Concert Band will start on Friday 22nd after school until 4.30pm.

The first meeting of this years’ Mearns Castle Eco-Committee will be on Monday 25th August in Science Lab A8 at 12:30.
If you would like to be considered for membership of the Eco Committee or would like to be part of the broader Eco Project group please attend.
We are looking for members from all year groups to be involved in a variety of projects over the course of the year and those who would like to be considered for a committee member role can also gain experience leading a variety of tasks.
This is a great opportunity to get involved in helping Mearns Castle continue to be eco-friendly and also a great way to meet with pupils from other year groups.
Will be starting on Monday 25 August in F7 (Maths Corridor), new gamers welcome.
