Education Scotland have put together advice and support for parents on the use of the internet and social media.
“Although there is a lot of information available about the dangers of the internet, the language can be confusing if you aren’t familiar with it. These vaccinations will be taking place for ALL S3 pupils on Monday 28th January.
Pupils have already received an information letter for parents and a consent form which should be completed and returned to the Blue Boxes as soon as possible in the brown envelopes provided. These should be marked for the attention of the school nurse.
Heather Murphy, our school nurse, will also share further information with pupils on Friday 18th January during English classes period 3. Pupils should go to class as normal and you will then be escorted to the Main Theatre to hear Heather’s presentation.
Further information about arrangements for 28th January will be shared with pupils at the assembly on Friday.
All S3/S4 students who have put their name forward for the British Schools Karting Championship should see Mr Stewart at the beginning of lunchtime on Monday in room F2.
Any pupil that wishes to take part in this Cross Country on Sat 16th February or for more information then please come and speak to Mr Stringer (Technical) by Monday 4th February. This is open to all pupils.

Can I remind all Duke of Edinburgh participants that they should be finishing off outstanding sections of the Award and completing their log books and edofe profiles, please hand in to me as soon as possible.
Could all pupils who completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions in June and September please attend a meeting Thursday Lunchtime at 12.30 in E2.
Could the group of S4 direct Silver Duke of Edinburgh Pupils also attend.

The winners will be awarded a golden dinner ticket for his/herself plus one friend allowing instant entry to the dining hall. Tickets will be valid from Monday 21st January to Friday 25th January 2013.
Winners will also be awarded 10 points for his/her house and all of the winning posters will be displayed in the Dining Hall.
