We have raised just over £800 for Red Nose Day.
Senior pupils have still to complete a sponsored walk and the total will be updated with sponsorship money.
Thank you to everyone for all their kind donations for the baking stall and all the money for the sensory activities, pie the management etc.
A huge thank you to the senior pupils and staff for all their hard work in organising this years event, I’m sure you will agree it was a huge success.
The AAC Communication Club will take place this Thursday, 30th March at 6:15 – 8:15pm.
For one week only, the club will take place in the Cara playroom in the Family Centre due to maintenance work taking place in school.
Easter activities and “A Squash and a Squeeze ” story book will be the theme for this week.
All classes have been set a challenge for Earth Hour today from 10:30 – 11:30am.
This is a perfect opportunity for some outdoor learning.
Staff will monitor the usage before and after and see what difference what we can make.
Reminder that school closes on Friday 31st March at 2:30pm for Spring Break.
There will be no extended school day.
Well done to all our senior pupils, especially Woodfarm students who organised a very successful Red Nose Day.
We had sensory activities, cake sale, raffle and pie the management which was the favourite activity.
Thank you to everyone who donated cakes for the cake sale.
We will let you know how much was raised on Monday.

Thank you to all the staff and parents for their cake donations to be sold by the senior pupils as part of the Red Nose Day activities.
Staff from classes Staffa, Jura and Tiree made a video for their classes as part of World Book Day.
This was a surprise for the pupils and they premiered it at the World Book Day assembly.
Students from classes Unst and Fetlar came to IMS on Tuesday to sell Red Noses as part of their fundraising enterprise for Red Nose Day.
They will be back selling the noses on Friday if you would like to buy one.

Pupils from Class Yell shopped today for ingredients to make cakes for their Red Nose Day Bake Sale.
When the store managers learned why they were shopping, they kindly agreed to donate some cakes for the sale – thank you to Laura at Waitrose, Kim at Sainsbury’s and Jacqui at Morrison’s.
Please remember to send your child in with money on
Friday so they can buy some of these delicious cakes and support Red Nose Day.
