The transition boys were all Confident Individuals today. All the boys cut out and stuck together a life size replica of ‘Dippy the dinosaur’s’ femur bone and measured themselves next to the bone to see who was bigger than the bone.
The Transition boys worked together in the kitchen to make toasties. We chose cheese, ham or haggis (or all three!) and all helped to prepare the ingredients. We also worked together to clean up afterwards.
The Transition boys were all responsible citizens yesterday when they visited Blair Drummond Safari Park. We saw lots of animals and learned lots about sea lions. We also had time to go on some rides an of course, have a picnic lunch.
Our favourite animals were:
Patrick – zebra
Oliver – sea lion
Ethan S – elephant
Jordan – penguin
Ethan B – meerkat
Keiran – sea lion
Hayden – tiger

The Transition boys enjoyed some chill-out and reading time this afternoon. We were all calm and quiet and handled the books with care.
Poppy the Spaniel came to visit the Transition boys this afternoon. We all had very kind hands when we were petting her, throwing her toys and giving her some treats.
