50 things outdoors

Bird feeders

Yesterday we threaded cheerios onto pipe cleaners and then tied them together to make a love heart shape. Today we took them into the garden and hung them on the trees for the birds. Next week we will go out and see if they have been eaten by the birds over the holiday weekend.

This week we have been outdoors lots. We have been playing lots of games and having fun. Some of the children have been running playing tig with peers and staff. We took a ball out and played catch. We stood in a circle and threw the ball and tried to catch it when it was thrown to us. It was fun and everyone enjoyed it. We also took some scarfs out to throw up in the air. 50 things outdoors – bubbles

The Bluebells love being outdoor. We enjoy going to the garden on a walk. At the start of the school year we explored bubbles in the garden which was lots of fun. We revisited it this week using our bubble rocket launcher in the garden. The children thoroughly enjoyed seeing the rocket fly into the air and the bubbles that it produced. Some even tried to stomp hard to make the rocket soar into the sky. They enjoyed running and catching the bubbles and bursting them with their hands.
