Pizza Fun!
We worked with the Transition class this morning as we ran a pizza shop style cookery activity. We chose a friend to take an order from then took turns to follow instructions and prepare each order. We were confident workers and effective contributors as we all took our turns and followed instructions.
ECO Assembly
We were responsible citizens as we learned about the importance of being eco-friendly by completing a variety of activities.
Books, Books, Books …. and Pancakes
This week has been a busy week in the Pine class, have made and enjoyed eating pancakes, enjoyed Eco sensory assembly and all enjoyed our swimming sessions this week and also Adams 14th birthday. In preparation for World Book Day we read lots of new books, enjoyed the book parade and were confident individuals picking a new book at the book swap. We are looking forward to tomorrow as we have an author coming into school.

SQA Puppet Theatre
The SQA Practical Crafts group have been having a fantastic time creating shadow puppets. Big thank you to the Puppet Theatre Workshop who have been helping the children to get creative and design some wonderful characters. The children also had the opportunity to record their own jingle for the final show. Confident individuals and effective contributors!

Eco Sensory Assembly!

The Moonbeams class enjoyed today’s Eco themed sensory assembly. We each made an Eco promise, created paintings using recycled resources and listened to an Eco story about Max the little green monster.

The Moonbeams class started off our World Book day celebrations by sharing their favourite stories with their friends.
We drew illustrations on pieces of bunting and have made a class display of our favourite books.
The Snowdrops were very responsible citizens, contributing to many different class and school activities about LGBT. We have been successfully learning about how all families are different and particularly enjoyed a story called No Matter What.
FAOL – Template Art
The Sungazers were ‘Effective Contributors’ as they used templates to create the Eiffel Tower for our theme display.
The Sungazers enjoyed being introduced to our new theme – ‘France’ , lots of fun times ahead.
