Koala Protectors

As a RRS we have a duty to offer support where we can to other countries in need.

The pupils have been discussing the tragedy in Australia and have been asking how we can help.

We have made a donation to the WWF charity to become ‘Koala Protectors’. Our donation will help towards the care needed to help injured koalas and to help in the restoration phase after the fires.

We will also receive updates from WWF.

Our actions have helped towards the following Global Goals for Sustainable Development…

Christmas Jumper & Party Outfit Donations Welcome

Has your child outgrown their Christmas jumper or party outfit?

As part of our commitment to our Eco-School status, we are collecting the following items after the festive season:

  • Christmas Jumpers
  • Party Outfits
  • School Uniforms

These will be available for anyone to use the following festive season! The school will store any Christmas jumpers and party outfits until November 2020 and open them up for families at this time. Perfect for the next Christmas Jumper Day!

Any donations can be dropped into the school office. Uniforms which have been donated are also available all year round at the school office – please feel free to take any items which may be of use for your family.

Onthank Parent Council – Click on the link below to take you to our Parent Council Blog.  This also can be accessed above on our Menu.  This blog was created and is updated by parents.

We are very proud of all the work children, staff and parents are doing to develop their ICT skills.  Our blog helps us on our journey as an ECO school, working towards our first school’s digital award and following East Ayrshire policy to be paperless.  Working together we do want parents to be informed however we know that a few people are not finding information easily.  We want to help so please help us to help you.  Can you please complete this form to help us improve.

We hope you have a restful October break, and  look forward to welcoming the children back into school on Monday 22nd October.
