Don’t forget we also have our Winter Jacket Project in school. If you have any winter coats your children have outgrown, we are gladly taking donations. Or if you are in need of a warm coat for your child this winter, please contact the school and let us know which size and we will source one for you.
Well done to our Stars of the Week who demonstrated one of our school VALUES this week! We are extremely proud of you all for working hard to display our school values.
We were delighted to have a visit from Chris from the SSPCA on Friday to both our infant and upper Get2gethers.
He told us all about the charity and what we should do if we suspect an animal is in danger. Our free pencils and stickers will be useful for reminding us of the telephone number should we ever need it!
This session New Cumnock Primary School are taking part Anti-Bullying Week Scotland and in the Respect Me, ‘Listen Up!’ campaign. Watch the video below to find out a bit more about the event.
We will start the week with an Anti-Bullying Get2gether, led by Mrs McMurdo. Throughout the week all classes will take part in activities that will promote anti-bullying messages.
This session we will also be working on the pledge below to ensure we are tackling bullying effectively should it occur in our school. We promise to keep you up to date with our progress across the session.
We are delighted to announce our netball and basketball sessions will be running until the week beginning 5th December. These classes are FREE and are open to all P4-P7 pupils.
Our Parent’s Group are looking for donations of wool to help with our Christmas craft sessions. Preferably in festive colours of red and green if possible, however, we would be delighted with any donations.
If you can help us, please send in your wool with your child to give to Mrs Bradford or Mrs McNulty.
