Please note that the date for our school poetry competition will be Wednesday 1st February 1.30-3pm.
Your child may already have their class poem sent home. We would appreciate your support in helping them to practise this.
3 finalists from each class will be selected prior to this, and parents/carers will be notified, to ensure that enough time is given to make arrangements in order to attend.
The school app has been updated accordingly.

Tomorrow brings us to the end of Languages Week Scotland, and we hope the children have enjoyed their classroom activities as well as their whole school learning with Mr Hastings about languages and cultures from all over the world!
We will be finishing our languages week by encouraging all pupils and staff to come to school dressed in the colours of a flag of their choice! We can’t wait to see how colourful you all look!
À Bientôt!
We are very excited to be celebrating Languages Week Scotland from Monday 31st January- Friday 4th February!
Article 30 of the UNCRC states that we have the right to celebrate and learn about languages and customs.
Every day in our classes we will be learning about a new language and taking part in fun activities linked to these languages.
Monday- German
Tuesday- French
Wednesday- Spanish
Thursday- Chinese Mandarin
Friday- British Sign Language
On FRIDAY 4TH FEBRUARY to celebrate the end of Languages Week, we would like to invite all pupils to come to school dressed in the COLOURS OF A FLAG OF THEIR CHOICE!
As a home learning task this week, we encourage all pupils to create their own flags either imaginatively, or by researching a country flag of their choice.
THANKS! MERCI! DANKE! GRACIAS! XIEXIE! ARIGATO! GRAZIE!

As part of our Health and Wellbeing delivery, the Relationships, Sexual Health and Parenting topics are delivered to our learners this term. Please find attached the consent forms for pupils which detail the content of this delivery. These are organised by level.
If you do not wish for your child to receive this input, please contact the school on 01290 338404 before Wednesday 9th June to let staff know.
