We are delighted that due to a successful funding bid by our Parent Council to the New Cumnock Development Trust, we have been granted the funds required to be able to run our Breakfast Club for the remainder of the school year, for free to our families!!!
We are extremely grateful to the NCDT for providing the funds to enable us to run this club, which not only supports the Health and Wellbeing needs of our young people, but supports our families too.
Please note:
Breakfast Club will start on Monday 26th January 2026.
Breakfast Club will run Monday-Friday 8:00am until 8.45am (Last entry to Breakfast Club will be 8:30am)
Entry will be via the back door to rear of the car park. Parents/carers must please refrain from parking in our staff car park as the morning time is busy with staff cars and school transport.
Thank you to everyone who has already completed the Form to confirm you wish your child to attend Breakfast Club. Email confirmation of this will be sent to the email address we have on record for each main contact. This Form has now been closed. Taught by professional practicing artists, the weekly classes are an opportunity for students to develop their passion for drawing in a creative and supportive environment.
They still have some spaces left! If your child is a keen artist, please follow the link below for more information and email youngartists@royaldrawingschool.org to register their place.
2 of our P7 Clean Green Team members, Peighton and Summer, were excited to attend the Climate Conference today at Loudoun Academy today. We had a great day networking with lots of partnership agencies who can help us on our journey to Gold status. We are looking forward to using all our inspiration from this event to help us generate our 25/26 Action Plan. 💚♻️ #EANetZero

This week we were visited by Tammy from the New Cumnock Development Trust who came to tell us all about Fitfest 2026 and how our P6 and P7 pupils have the opportunity to apply to be a Fitfest Ambassador.
Application forms were sent home and the closing date for these to be delivered to the NCDT office is this Wednesday 17th September. Applications will be shortlisted and interviews held soon after in school.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our young people to develop leadership skills and to represent their school and community.
If your child didn’t get an application form and wishes to submit one, please email Mrs McNulty and she will get one sent home on Monday.
