Dear Parents and carers,

We are putting this message out to all Academy Cluster parents.

In order to make the childcare for Key Workers  more efficient,  children who would have attended Dumfries Academy should now report to Dumfries High School.  It is imperative following the Government announcement last night that this service is only available to the children of critical category one key workers.

Please note that this is a decision taken by all Dumfries  Burgh Head Teachers until a we have a longer term plan for all young people entitled to supervision at this time.

Staff will be deployed to manage the small numbers of pupils we have attending. Appropriate activities for children, depending on their age and stage, will be provided.

Free School Meals may still be collected from Dumfries Academy

We will continue to update on arrangements for children entitled to supervision and free school meals.
