Dear parents and carers,

In light of this afternoon’s statement by the First Minister we would like to stress that it is absolutely crucial that children stay at home.  Laurieknowe is closed.

Places for childcare in our area are for key workers who are “PROVIDING CRITICAL SERVICES IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19” and who have no alternative care options.  We ask that you carefully consider your needs, to find alternative plans where possible, which will allow us to provide childcare for those who need it most.

We appreciate that this is a very difficult and challenging situation, as it is for all of us, however in this situation we must work together, doing our best to ensure that everyone stays safe.

We must follow national guidance.
