Minibeasts and P1M Assembly

Well done to P1M!

We then had a minibeast hunt as well as making our own minibeasts from paper, stone, playdough or even biscuits.

 

Health and Wellbeing

We started with yoga and ended with mindfulness.  We enjoyed tasting some fruits like watermelon, apricot, peach and plum.  In the GP room Miss Potts had us doing some exercises.  We also attempted to label a body as well as complete some emotion jigsaws.

 

Numeracy

On a lovely warm day lots of us enjoyed finding numbers outside in an orienteering activity while others played number games or wrote numbers in the shade.

Science Session

Well done to P1Y for a fantastic assembly on Dinosaurs!

We tried a variety of experiments during our Science session.

We learned lots of new things and had fun.

 

Literacy Session

We enjoyed The Gruffalo story sack together before trying out lots of literacy based activities with our families.

We were retelling a story or making up our own stories using puppets and dressing up.

Creating our own books.

Enjoying looking at books and reading them together.

Writing and using letters to make words.

We look forward to the session on Science and P1Y’s assembly on Dinosaurs.
