Blog to share learning of small, Scottish rural school
P1 – P4 pupils have been receiving some basketball coaching from Shannon. They had a super time yesterday practising their chest passes and then finished off with a quick game.
P 1 to 4 have been making some lovely stained glass windows for Autumn.
Well done Douglas for producing a very informative book about fireworks and Bonfire Night. The book is available from the school library for all pupils. Douglas says the most important message is NEVER to throw fireworks!

It’s the first day back of session 2014-2015 today. Good luck to all newcomers, current pupils and ex-pupils; hope you all enjoy learning.
Yesterday morning primary 1 to 4 went a walk along the Annan river to the Annan Cemetery. It was a beautiful day for the walk and Declan showed us all his Mums plaque.
Primary 1 to 4 children went on a trip to Tesco last Thursday as part of the Farm to Folk initiative. The children were made very welcome by the Tesco staff. They had a great time and got to make bread, doughnuts and their own fruit dessert.
