Mr Sweeney came and worked with the whole school this afternoon, introducing us to Heart Start – Learning Emergency Life Support.
We learned valuable information about different situations, what to do and when. We also got to practise different skills: putting someone in the recovery position, checking for breathing and even doing CPR on our own dummies (although we didn’t manage to bring them back to life).
